I bought these cables to set up my computer as a media center to run to my tv (the connections for pc hookup on my tv are faulty and I didn't feel like spending 8 weeks without a tv to have it "looked at" by the manufacturer- oh and pay shipping to do that).
I was warned that such a length of cable might result in sound distortion- no such case.
I have hooked up my iphone and mp3 player to this cable and get great sound out of the speakers with it.
I will def be buying them again if I need more.
